HR Executive
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our client's team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of functions in the Human Resources department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment law. Job Responsibilities:
- Help with recruitment: post job ads, review CVs, do first interviews, and prepare job offers.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Keep employee records and HR documents updated and accurate.
- Handle work permit applications for Third Country Nationals (TCNs) and collect all needed documents.
- Answer employee questions and support them with any HR issues.
- Help ensure the company follows employment laws and internal policies.
- Support managers with disciplinary cases when needed.
- Prepare basic HR reports (e.g. staff turnover, recruitment, training).
- Help organise staff activities, events, and surveys to improve employee engagement.
- Build contacts with schools and colleges for internships and apprenticeships.
- Support the HR Manager with HR budgets, plans, and help supervise junior HR staff.
Requirements:
- MQF Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Human Resources.
- 5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a fast-paced environment and the ability to support the HR function and multitask.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Shireburn Software is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Speaks fluent Maltese and English.
