HR Administration Officer - Italian speaking
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit an HR Administration Officer to join our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of employment contracts, extensions, amendments, and terminations
- Drafting employment offer letters and mandatory documentation
- Managing obligations under the Employment and Industrial Relations Act (EIRA)
- Handling registrations and notifications with Jobsplus
- Managing documentation for EU and non‑EU workers (Single Work Permit, immigration compliance)
- Providing administrative support to payroll (FSS, Social Security Contributions, income tax)
- Updating HR records and archiving documents in compliance with GDPR
- Verifying administrative documentation from subcontractors
- Supporting audit processes and inspections
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Economics, Law, or related fields
- 2–4 years of experience in HR administration, preferably in Malta
- Knowledge of Maltese labour regulations
- Experience managing foreign workers
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance orientation
- Plus: Experience in multinational environments; Knowledge of FSS and Social Security Contributions; Experience with contractor/subcontractor management
