Head of Tax Advisory

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Head of Tax Advisory.

Our client is a well‑established professional services organisation looking for a senior leader to develop and grow its Tax Advisory function. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the team, enhancing service offerings, and advising a diverse portfolio of clients on complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand the Tax Advisory line of business while shaping its long-term strategy.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Provide high-level tax advice across areas such as corporate taxation, international tax, regulatory frameworks, and emerging tax developments.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Conduct in‑depth technical research and deliver practical tax solutions.
• Represent the organisation at external events and support cross‑department collaboration.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant or tax professional with at least five years’ experience in taxation.
• A recognised tax qualification is preferred; otherwise, strong technical expertise and willingness to obtain one.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team or department.
• Strong communication, analytical, and business development skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with CRM or business development systems.
