Senior Accountant
Summary
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join to our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviewing insurance and general accounting entries leading to monthly preparation and review of Management accounts
- Coordinating the timely submission of monthly accounting data from third party local and international insurance managers in connection with our protected cell insurance operation
- Financial reporting, and assisting in the annual forecasting and budgets process
- Assisting in the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns and the completion of annual audits
- Provide guidance & supervision to the accounting team
- Recommend and undertake continuous system and process improvements to improve efficiencies and ensure quality service
Requirements:
- Applicants must be fully ACCA quilified
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years working experience within the finance function.
- Experience in Insurance Accounting and IFRS 17 will be considered an asset
- IT and data proficiency
- Have excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills
- Be a strong critical thinker and problem-solver, and a pro-active self starter
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, demonstrating attention to detail
- Be flexible and deadline conscious
