Accounts Clerk
Manpower is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join our client's team.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting and sorting of payments and payment allocations
- Reconciling end of day cashier reports
- Preparing of deposits
- Preparing refunds, sending cheque payments by post, in a timely manner
- Maintaining a thorough record of business transactions
- Keeping the companys general ledger up to date daily
- Supporting supervisory and executive finance department staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
- Issuing payments and maintaining updated records, as required
- Coin collection
- Maintaining petty cash and reconciling petty cash for all locations
- Performing other day-to-day accounting duties to support the Accounts Department
Qualifications:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to listen and learn quickly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines
- Ability to work within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
- Organised, responsible, with an excellent eye for detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
