Senior IT Officer
Manpower is seeking to recruit a driven Senior IT Officer to join our client's IT team. This position will be reporting directly to the IT Manager of the Group.
You will be working with various third-party suppliers to enhance, build & optimise the company's data assets. You will have extensive experience in database design concepts and SQL programming. You will oversee best practices and deliver high-quality solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Excellent SQL knowledge
- Experience in designing data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of data modelling
- Knowledge of database and data security techniques
- Basic understanding of Windows administration tools, Active Directory and DNS.
- Basic understanding of the networking protocols.

Job requirements
- Bachelors Degree in IT.
- CCNA, MCSA, MCSE or similar certifications will be considered an asset.
- PRINCE2 or a similar certification is desirable.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting.
- Ability to document troubleshooting steps and new configurations.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Ability to learn new technologies as they become available
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills, positive attitude, and a dedicated team player.
- Fluent in Maltese and English language. Italian is desirable.
