HR & Payroll Admin

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Italian-speaking HR & Payroll Admin on a full-time (or reduced-hours) basis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the processing of payroll accurately through preparation of monthly adjustments. 
  • Assist with finalizing payroll runs- generating relevant bank files, tax reports and publishing of pay slips
  • Handle payroll inquiries and provide support to employees regarding payroll matters
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the system
  • Drafting of contracts of employment
  • Manage Leave entitlements
  • Support the application process of work permits
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, cooperating with the HQ
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Stay updated on HR and payroll best practices and legislative changes

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree-level qualification in HR or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong track record in payroll;
  • Strong understanding of payroll and employment laws;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Maltese and preferably Italian;
  • Good command of the Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in order to manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • High level of reliability and flexibility

Job Info:

  • Type of Contract: Indefinite
  • Salary: Depending on experience
  • Work Setting: Onsite + Opportunity to attend a fully paid and expensed training program in Sicily for 12 months.
  • Candidate location: Must already be living in Malta
