Senior Technical Specialist
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Senior Technical Specialist to join our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, service, maintain, and support cash machines and queuing automation systems.
- Provide comprehensive hardware and software support, including troubleshooting, scripting, and system monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently to ensure system uptime and performance.
- Interact directly with clients to deliver on-site support, training, and demonstrations of company solutions.
- Represent and promote the company's products and services in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, service records, and installation reports.
- Assist with cost analysis, resource planning, and efficiency improvements within the technical operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Head of Operations – Technical Division.
- Continuously update technical knowledge through training and industry research.
- Support and mentor junior technicians, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and developments relevant to cash handling and automation systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years Hands-on experience with hardware installation, servicing, or maintenance (preferably automated systems).
- Strong IT skills, including troubleshooting software and online platforms.
- Familiarity with networking, cloud services, and system interfaces.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python, SQL, PowerShell, etc.) is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of API protocols and architectures, including RESTful services, HTTP methods, and status codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, tech-savvy, and keen to learn new technologies.
- Good English communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work on standby or after-hours support when required.
- Candidates applying must be residing in Malta.
