Technical Business Analyst
Manpower Malta is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our client's team.
What Does The Role Entail
Forming part of a team of specialised individuals within the Software Services Team, the Technical Business Analyst supports and works alongside senior members in identifying and meeting the clients IT and communication technology requirements.
They are responsible for bridging the gap between the customers business process management (BPM) needs and providing consistent assistance on the development, testing, and life cycle of BPM and Workflow software developed to fulfil this need.
What You'll Do
- Assess and interpret client business and functional requirements in collaboration with team members, then build, translate, organise, and document these design requirements for solutions.
- Prepare estimates on project deliverables as guided by senior members.
- Monitor assigned project deliverables, ensuring execution within stipulated time frames.
- Assist senior members in designing software solutions using productivity platforms, 3rd party applications, and/or add-ons.
- Implement solutions using recommended productivity tools in line with the Companys Development Framework.
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade delivered solutions under guidance.
- Assist in data extraction, manipulation, and presentation into available platforms.
- Validate implemented solutions by compiling and executing test cases and scenarios.
- Assist in User Acceptance activities with clients and prepare outcome reports.
- Prepare training material and deliver systems and solutions training to end users.
- Provide client support and operate implemented solutions as per support agreements.
- Maintain and update appropriate customer documentation.
- Participate in and support commercial activities in collaboration with the commercial team.
- Proactively seek ways to leverage technologies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security.
What You'll Need
- A can-do attitude, desire for continuous learning, and drive to succeed.
- A Bachelors degree in computing or an IT-related subject.
- Preferably hold related IT industry certifications.
- Experience working with SQL and supporting/delivering customer solutions.
- Passion for technology with ideally 1–2 years of IT-related experience.
- Understanding of designing and developing business processes and data models, and ability to configure and support BPM platforms and database systems.
- Strong communication skills—able to listen, translate, and express ideas clearly in writing and speech.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management and collaborative skills.
- Eagerness to provide knowledge transfer and training for BPM solutions.
- Client-focused and outgoing, enjoying collaboration during solution development.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and identify areas for business optimization.
- Open-minded and self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
