Accounts Assistant
On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer/Assistant.
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Accounts Officer/Assistant to join their team. The selected candidate will play an important role within the finance department, supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring that financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out bank reconciliations and stock control reconciliations
- Manage, post, and prepare petty cash transactions
- Reconcile supplier statements, ensuring all balances are accurate and up to date
- Process supplier payments and handle other monthly payment obligations
- Record day‑to‑day financial transactions in the companys accounting system
- Prepare financial reports as required by company directors
- Meet all monthly internal deadlines
- Perform any other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Level standard in Accounts or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a similar position (considered an asset)
- Familiarity with accounting software and strong MS Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet daily deadlines
- Maltese speaking would be considered an asset
