Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Part-Time Homeporting Assistants to join our elite 6-star cruise liner team. As a homeporting assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless and luxurious embarkation and disembarkation experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with guests from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with embarkation and disembarkation processes at designated ports
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Guide guests through check-in, security, and boarding procedures
• Assist with luggage handling, including tagging and directing to the correct areas
• Communicate important travel and ship information to guests in a clear and friendly manner
• Collaborate with port and ship staff to ensure smooth guest flow and resolve any logistical issues
• Ensure that all safety and security procedures are followed
• Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance guests' experiences during their stay

Requirements:

• Must be 17 years or older
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language
• Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Professional demeanor and well-groomed appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., assisting with luggage)
• Availability to work at various homeports and transport yourself to the port location
• Must be eligible to work at the location of hire
