Finance Manager
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our client's internal finance team.
You will oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and assist in developing budgets that meet the requirements. Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees including management accountants and Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company
Job Responsibilities:
- Be familiar and up to date with all policies of the Group regarding standard practice instructions.
- Assist in maintaining a system of internal controls which will provide the most effective control of the assets and revenue of the organisation.
- Assist in maintaining all accounting records of the hotel in the manner prescribed by the Corporate Office.
- Ensure that all law and fiscal regulations are complied with.
- Ensure the safekeeping and updating of all leases and contracts and all other legal records and document which may affect the financial status of the organisation.
- Ensure the bank statement are reconciled by end of month.
- Ensuring Monthly Intercompany reconciliations are done.
- Review of all finance journals before being uploaded.
- Ensure contract registry is updated.
- Closing of end of the month management accounts , supervising the team, members and assisting them with any queries.
- Closing of the books and the subsequent timely preparation of the required financial data.
- Ensure that local tax matters, including both income and other taxes, are properly handled and prepare quarterly Vat returns.
- Assist the Director Of Finance with any other matters arising within the department
Requirements:
- A degree in hotel management or accounting
- At least three years previous experiences within a hotel environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Well-versed computer literacy is a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM and SUN System is an asset.
- Results oriented and enthusiastic and with strong interpersonal, analytical and follow-through skills.
- You have the ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards and adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
