Finance Manager
Manpower Malta are seeking a Finance Manager on behalf of our client
Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts and other reports and presentation of same to the Board of Directors
- Review and interpretation of complex data
- Preparation of financial forecasts/budgets
- Analysis of performance against budgets and against prior years
- Preparation and analysis of monthly departmental contribution reports for the group
- Cost analysis and control
- Monitoring the finance teams tasks, ensuring reporting is timely
- Understanding of processes and procedures with the objective of improving performance
- IT and Control Systems updating for continuous improvement
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure the smooth running of the group companies audits
- Monitoring of E.U / National Grants that the group may benefit from
- Maintaining updated KYC documentation for the groups advisors, bankers, service providers
- Preparation and submission of the groups VAT returns
- Assistance with the ongoing KYC and bank forms
- Filling of NSO questionnaires and statistics
- Contribute towards talent development of other team members within the finance team, be willing to take on a hands-on approach and assist them as and when required, hence promoting teamwork
- Other general duties that may be required by the directors and chief financial officer
Requirements
- ACCA or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in similar role
- Team player
- Ready to pull his/her sleeves and assist lower level staff as required mentoring them and teaching them
- Keeping with deadlines set
- Does not need constant reminders
- Show initiative
- Organisational skills
