Clamp Lifter Operator
Summary
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Clamp Lifter Operator to join our client's team.
Job Responsibilities:
- To be an integral part of the corrugation team where teamwork and effective communication are key.
- To operate the lifter to prepare the paper rolls for the daily production schedule as specified in the supporting documentation.
- To make sure that the line is continuously replenished as to ensure a smooth operation without any interruptions or unnecessary downtime.
- To ensure that the paper rolls are clearly labelled and that their storage area is kept clean and well-organized.
- To complete all the necessary data entry documentation associated with each job.
- To operate fork lifters and to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- To run the machine, monitor its operation and ensure that the equipment is in good running order.
- To perform the necessary troubleshooting and adjustments.
- To conduct quality checks.
- To maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- To work in a safe manner and to comply with all rules and regulations related to Health & Safety.
- To be willing to learn and to participate in training provided by the company.
- To provide support and necessary training to the machine team.
- To communicate relevant information to supervisors on a timely basis.
- To ensure that all work processes set by the company are adhered to.
- To actively participate in seeking to improve and advance within the company.
- To continually keep oneself updated on developments within the area of work.
- To perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience with forklifts.
- Ability to communicate in Maltese and/or English.
- ALL CANDIDATE MUST BE ALREADY BASED IN MALTA
