Junior IT Administrator

The chosen candidate will be forming part of the technical division and will be reporting directly to the Head of IT.

The Junior IT Administrator will assist in maintaining and supporting the groups IT infrastructure. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the IT field, providing technical support to staff, monitoring systems, and helping with day-to-day IT operations.

Main responsibilities include:

• Providing first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Responding to IT service requests and escalating when necessary
• Assisting in setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other devices
• Helping monitor network connectivity and reporting issues
• Supporting account creation and password resets
• Maintaining basic access permissions under supervision
• Performing routine checks on systems and devices
• Assisting with software updates and patching
• Keeping records of IT assets and support tickets
• Documenting troubleshooting steps and solutions

The ideal candidate must have:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field (or currently studying).
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid Driving License

Possession of the below certifications will be considered an asset:

• CompTIA A+
• Microsoft Fundamentals
