Regulatory Reporting & Data Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Finance & Treasury Department as a Regulatory Reporting & Data Analyst. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory obligations are met with precision and efficiency, while also contributing to the enhancement of reporting processes through smart automation. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, combining analytical expertise with a strong commitment to compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include:

• Preparing and submitting accurate, timely regulatory reports in line with financial regulations.
• Gathering, cleaning, and analysing complex datasets from various sources.
• Validating and reconciling data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Identifying issues or anomalies in data and taking proactive steps to resolve them.
• Collaborating with internal teams to source information and clarify requirements.
• Supporting the development of automated solutions to streamline reporting and reduce manual work.

Skills and Capabilities Required

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and/or data analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data manipulation tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
• Previous experience in a financial or regulatory environment (desirable).
• Fluency in English and Maltese (preferred).
