Business System Analyst
On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Business Analyst. The Business Systems Analyst will form part of our Cross-Functional Teams working closely with all
stakeholders including product/business requirements, technical and QA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of project delivery and release schedules, ensuring timely completion of client requirements and service requests.
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities and provide technical leadership during requirements analysis and project handover.
- Prepare detailed client requirements, analysis, and design documentation, as well as high-level test cases for functional and regression testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain both automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate daily with clients and internal teams during testing to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and timelines.
- Assist technical teams with the creation of optimal use cases and database designs.
- Coordinate with the testing team throughout various testing phases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business and Computing or a similar qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the payments or financial services industry (Product Ownership experience is highly preferred).
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering processes such as user stories, use cases, and business requirements.
- Basic knowledge of a scripting language, ideally SQL.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools (considered an asset).
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Able to perform under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
