Logistics Officer

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Logistics Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the routing of sales orders, ensuring alignment with departure schedules and that all related documentation is accurately prepared.
• Ensure timely stock replenishment to support district distribution, direct departures, and export loading.
• Supervise warehouse staff involved in receiving, picking, replenishing, cleaning, transporting, and stacking stock, ensuring smooth operations and cost-effective workflows.
• Manage import-related storage processes, verify incoming goods, and maintain accurate data in the Warehouse Management System.
• Assist with office-based accounting tasks and generate regular and ad hoc reports.
• Coordinate and oversee warehouse cleanliness, yard and equipment maintenance, and related recordkeeping.
• Reconcile supplier invoices against agreed terms (price, quality, quantity, conditions), ensuring accuracy.
• Lead daily Kaizen meetings and drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum O Level standard of education.

• Experience in logistics or warehouse operations.

• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communicator with solid ICT and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to work shifts and maintain high warehouse standards.

• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
