Engineering Services Manager

Overview

Manpower is seeking to recruit an Engineering Services Manager for our client. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Services Manager is responsible for managing all technical services to ensure safe and reliable function of equipment and facilities to support supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Facility and Asset Management

• Supervise the Engineering Services team to guarantee smooth operations and preventative maintenance across manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices.

• Control budgets related to facility maintenance and utility operations, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and engineering stores to ensure seamless maintenance and repair activities.
• Manage and maintain workshop areas, trade facilities, and engineering zones to promote productivity and safety. 
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to building codes and facility management.

Project Execution and Support

• Lead and implement infrastructure and utility improvement projects

  to increase efficiency and service reliability.
• Provide engineering support and manpower resources for cross-functional projects within other departments or operational areas.

Qualifations

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in technical services, maintenance engineering, or infrastructure management, preferably in an industrial or production setting.
• Familiar with mechanical systems such as HVAC, compressed air, water systems, and elevator mechanisms.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, automation technologies, and control platforms.
• Experience in utilizing data and analytics for utility optimization and performance improvements.
• Knowledge of facility-related regulatory and compliance standards.
