Logistics Clerk
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Logistics Clerk to join our client's team and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment whilst maintaining the highest standard of good practice.
This opportunity is being offered on a temporary contract basis, with an expected duration of approximately one year.
The chosen candidate will be assisting and providing support to the Logistics Manager and will be responsible in the clearance of customs, general / fleet insurance and office administration.
Main duties include:
- Preparing and processing of all customs entries and formalities.
- Preparing all documentation related to National Statistics Office.
- Ensuring that import and export related customs entries are correct.
- Ensuring that all consignment files and correspondence are inputted in the logistics database.
- Ensuring that any information that is in the logistics database is at hand and accurate.
- Maintaining all necessary information on the company fleet, with on-hand information on fuel, insurance, maintenance and fines.
- Ensuring that all assets, vehicles and consignments are adequately insured and that any subsequent claims are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensuring that all vehicles are properly licensed, insured and maintained in proper working order.
- Ensuring that all trading licenses of the Company are renewed or applied for within the stipulated period.
The ideal Candidate must:
- Have excellent verbal and written skills in both Maltese & English.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
