TMT Lawyer (Technology, Media and Telecommunications)

Manpower is seeking to recruit an experienced TMT Lawyer to join our client's team. 

Responsibilities:

• Privacy: Lead data protection compliance efforts for our clients, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other relevant regulations. Develop and implement robust privacy strategies, including drafting and reviewing privacy policies, consent forms and data processing agreements. Assist with various data breaches and privacy incidents.
• TMT Legal Support@ Provide comprehensive legal support for TMT Law projects, including advising on intellectual property matters including licensing agreements, content distribution, copyright and trademark work.
• Legal Research: Stay at the forefront of developments in data protection and TMT laws, translating this knowledge into practical advice for clients.
• Client Collaboration: Cultivate strong client relationships, offering expert guidance tailored to their specific needs.
• Training: Deliver informative training sessions to clients and colleagues on data protection and privacy best practices.

Requirements:

• 2 years of post-qualification experience, with demonstrated focus on privacy and data protection
• Bar admission in Malta
• Exceptional analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
