Technical Sales Manager
Overall Purpose
On Behalf of our Client, Manpower Malta is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to procure sales and source products related to cash automation (note/coin counting equipment), queuing systems, and complementary accessories and maintenance services.
To build strong supplier and customer relationships in order to enhance profitability and ensure the companys long-term success.
To support the Managing Director in achieving and surpassing business objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To develop and implement sales strategies for the company's products and services.
- To achieve both short and long-term sales growth objectives.
- To identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring maximum market penetration.
- To conduct market research and analyze customer needs, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- To create and present business cases and bespoke solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- To establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- To negotiate contracts and set, monitor, and achieve KPIs, sales targets, and marketing campaigns with vendors.
- To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and prompt responses.
- To work closely with the Credit Control Department and sales team to monitor aged debtor analysis.
- To represent the company at conferences, workshops, and networking events and stay updated on industry developments.
- To maintain clear and effective communication with subsidiary companies and internal teams.
- To ensure compliance with ethical business practices and uphold the companys professional standards.
- To keep updated on the companys products and services, as well as developments in Sales Management.
- To continuously seek knowledge on competitor pricing, sales tactics, and industry trends, reporting insights to the Managing Director.
- To participate in training and certification programs as required.
- To travel overseas when required for supplier meetings, training, or industry events.
- To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.
- To perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements
The position calls for a highly motivated professional with excellent sales expertise and is proficient in closing various sales leads and managing customer accounts.
- Be sales and business oriented with an aptitude for negotiation;
- Have good leadership and analytical skills;
- Possess an excellent level of verbal and written communication skills in English (Fluency in Maltese will be considered as a preference);
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team and on own initiative;
- Be willing to travel overseas to attend fairs and training;
- Possess a clean driving licence;
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a bachelors degree or diploma in electrical engineering / IT and to those having sales experience within the Banking, Retail, Hospitality and Information Technology Industries.
