Technical Storekeeper

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Technical Storekeeper to join our client team.

Overview

The Technical Storekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of technical materials and equipment in the stores, supporting overall operational goals and collaborating with the warehousing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the receipt and dispatch of the technical goods to and from the warehouses;
• Collaborating with the team to provide excellent customer service;
• Managing the operation and maintenance of warehouses, including proper storage of goods;
• Generating and maintaining accurate records of returned goods;
• Ensuring proper storage conditions for technical materials to avoid damage or deterioration;
• Handling specialized equipment in compliance with safety and operational standards;
• Implementing best practices for warehouse layout and material handling;
• Liaising with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues related to deliveries;
• Performing additional duties assigned by the Company as needed to support smooth operations and business activities.

Requirements:

• Motivated, smart and a good team-player;
• Physically able to lift and transfer loads (approx. 15 to 20kg);
• Literate and able to communicate in English, fluency in Maltese is an asset;
• Having a forklift license/certificate is an asset; however, lifter training may be provided if needed;
• Have basic knowledge of computer inputting and system use.
