Accounts & Administration Manager
Manpower Malta are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Accounts & Admin Manager to join our clients management team.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and ensure timely updates.
- Manage invoices and payments owed by the company to suppliers, vendors, and creditors.
- Handle invoices and payments due from clients or customers.
- Reconcile the company's transaction records with bank statements.
- Prepare regular financial reports.
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation, monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
- Calculate and prepare tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and timely tax payment submissions.
- Oversee employee payroll, accurately calculating wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Assist auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize accounting software to efficiently manage financial transactions and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies regarding financial practices.
- Perform other daily administrative duties.
- Work closely with the General Manager and assist with other assigned duties.
Key Competencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, particularly Excel.
- Proven track record in a payroll environment, with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong accounting skills, ideally at the initial stages of ACCA.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, including effective prioritization and multitasking.
- Knowledge of local employment law.
- Team player with excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Experience with Shireburn Indigo and XERO accounting software is a strong asset.
