HEAVY TRUCK DRIVER - (C license)

Manpower is seeking to recruit Truck Drivers to join multiple client companies in Malta. The selected candidates will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with road regulations and company policies. This role is ideal for experienced drivers who are reliable, safety-conscious, and have excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks before and after trips.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Manage delivery schedules and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Handle necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and invoices.
• Maintain communication with dispatch teams and report any issues on the road

Requirements:

• Valid Category C driving license (Malta Transport or EU equivalent).
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the logistics or transportation sector.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in goods transportation, logistics, or warehousing.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations on the road.
