Procurement Executive Technical
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Procurement Executive Technical to join our client's team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing and ordering technical goods and materials essential for the company's operations, ensuring a balance between cost, quality, and delivery timelines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, negotiation skills, and supply chain management knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Procuring Technical goods from various suppliers locally and international.
- Assessing the competitiveness of pricing and service levels offered by key company suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships to secure a dependable supply chain.
- Expanding the supplier network locally and internationally to provide clients with a broader product selection.
- Tracking and monitoring orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Managing procurement requests and ensuring timely acquisition of required goods.
- Preparing and forwarding quotations to clients
- Ensuring prompt responses to client inquiries
- Preparing and processing purchase orders through the companys procurement system.
- Organizing meetings and conducting visits to key and potential suppliers.
- Prioritizing inquiries based on their urgency.
- Negotiating terms of trade, delivery conditions, discounts, and rebate arrangements with suppliers.
- Identifying opportunities for strategic negotiations.
Requirements:
- An excellent communicator in both English and Maltese languages;
- Having worked in a similar industry; particularly in the purchasing department in within a technical field;
- Comfortable navigating a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities;
- Approaches challenges with a calm, can-do attitude and enjoys finding solutions to complex tasks;
- Confident in building agreements that balance the needs of all parties;
- Motivated to drive results and contribute to the success of sales initiatives;
- Familiar with sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement best practices;
- Looks ahead to anticipate issues and offers thoughtful, practical solutions;
- Skilled in organizing tasks and meeting deadlines, even during busy periods;
- Builds positive relationships and works well with a results-driven team;
- Finds satisfaction in accomplishing meaningful work and tackling challenges head-on;

- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: Normal office hours between 8:00 - 5:00. Can start 7:00-16:00/9:00-18:00
