Client Account Executive

Job Purpose

To drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales with existing and potential Clients and by forging strong relationships with clients assigned to him.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • To assist in the development and increase of sales and market activities to ensure that Sales volumes are increased on a yearly basis as per yearly budgets.
  • To research, analyse and propose business opportunities and strategies, and develop improvement plans to provide appropriate growth to business.
  • To design plans to achieve the set objectives and develop plans for new business fostering, including new industry sectors.
  • To coordinate and give feedback to the Head of Sales and Business Development and Top Management team to ensure budgets are respected and targets are achieved.
  • To gain a good understanding of the business products and services to market them with potential new Clients.
  • To analyse business and competitors trends to support in the review of forthcoming plans.
  • To manage customer communication and maintain effective relationship with the designated list of clients to increase their value and attract new ones.
  • To understand customer needs and respond with an effective plan and to address them in the most efficient way.
  • To assist in the preparation of customers budgets and respective trading conditions.
  • To ensure that customer has received all the necessary information and provide client with timely quotations.
  • To assist Head of Sales and Business Development in the devising of the Sales Plan for the respective client base.
  • To support in the evaluation of market trends and initiatives to provide appropriate support to product development.
  • To attend events where appropriate as agreed with management.
  • To liaise with the Product Design Department with regards to the design of potential new products.
  • To communicate effectively with Production Planning to ensure agreed delivery dates are met.
  • To provide Head of Sales and Business Development with adequate weekly and monthly reports showing the state of business development in respective geographical region and the client base assigned.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Sales Expertise: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, strategies, and processes, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the company's manufacturing products, their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Ability to effectively communicate product information to potential customers.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the manufacturing industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences. Awareness of industry regulations and standards.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain strong connections with customers, distributors, and partners. Ability to foster long-term relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information, negotiate terms, and present sales proposals. Ability to tailor communication to different audiences and actively listen to customer needs.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric approach, understanding customer requirements, and providing appropriate solutions. Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide outstanding service.
  • Target Orientation: Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and meeting revenue goals. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying customer pain points and offering suitable solutions. Ability to think critically, analyse market dynamics, and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple customer accounts, and meet deadlines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection, overcome obstacles, and stay motivated in a challenging and competitive sales environment. Persistence and a positive attitude in the face of setbacks.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative nature with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful sales outcomes.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with sales software, CRM systems, and digital tools to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate reports.
