Senior .NET Developer

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Senior .NET Developer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will lead the development and enhancement of existing software solutions, including but not limited to Point of Sale (POS) systems and healthcare-related applications. This role requires a highly skilled developer capable of working independently, taking ownership of projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, implementation, and deployment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions, specifically including POS and healthcare-related systems.
• Independently manage projects from coding through to deployment, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
• Design and implement new modules, enhancements, and optimizations for patient record management and database systems.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and scalability.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders for seamless feature integration.
• Maintain code quality, security, and follow software development best practices.
• Perform additional duties associated with system administration as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in .NET development.
• Proven experience handling large-scale projects.
• Strong expertise in ASP.NET Web API, .NET Framework Templates, and Visual Basic (.vb).
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL).
• Solid experience working with APIs.
• Proficiency with Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Previous experience with version control using Git.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage full project lifecycles.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in software deployment and implementation processes.
• Previous experience modifying, debugging, and maintaining Android APK projects.

Preferred Experiance:

• Prior experience working on Pharmacy-related projects and Mamvo systems will be considered a valuable asset.

Job Info:

• Type of Contract: 1-year definite contract (to be renewed)
• Salary: Depending on experience
• Work Setting: Hybrid is possible after probation
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 with flexible hours
• Candidate location: All candidates must already be living in Malta.
