Forklift Driver
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Forklift Driver to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Forklift Truck operations with the Warehouse Coordinator and Production Supervisors on Company Premises.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Forklift Drivers abide by H&S regulations
- Ensure that all pallets are scanned where applicable before moving the pallet
- Ensure that the Forklift Checklist is duly filled and that all Forklift Drivers are filling in their respective checklists
- Report any damages/faults to the lifter and ensure that all Forklift Drivers report damages as well
- Perform duties as assigned by the Warehouse Coordinator including, but not limited to, loading, and unloading trucks, moving pallets to and from designated areas such as imports, production, kitting, and non-core, observing FEFO
- Ensure the forklift trucks are always in a clean condition
- Ensure that Forklift batteries are changed and charged according to the procedure
- Report any defect/damaged products observed in the warehouse and report to the Warehouse Coordinator
- Perform training of new Forklift Drivers
Requirements:
- Applicants MUST be in possession of a valid driving licence B
