Production Line Technician
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Production Line Technician to join our client team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying faults and fault diagnosis.
- Planning and conducting maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery, and equipment to the required standards.
- Timely updating of the required maintenance and job-related documentation.
- Ensuring that interventions carried out are safe and according to the required standards.
- Participating in the design, procurement, training, and installation of new plant, machinery, and equipment.
- Looking for alternative ways to conserve energy and reporting any ideas to the Engineering Management.
- Responding to equipment breakdown emergencies promptly and responsibly, rectifying any equipment failure to its normal operating status.
- Supporting the Engineering team to seek alternative ways that can optimize maintenance costs.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Be able to communicate effectively in both Maltese and English.
- Be capable of working independently as well as interacting effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work in a logical manner.
- Have good computer skills, especially with using Microsoft Office.
- Possess a valid driving license.
- Possess a clean conduct certificate.
- Wiremans licenses A and B, and previous working experience in the field will be considered an asset.
- Training and further technical education will be encouraged and supported.

- Type of Contract: Indefinite
- Salary: Depending on experience
- Working Hours: between 5:00am and 4:30pm on a roster basis
- Candidate location: Must be already living in Malta
