Support Worker
Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Time Support Worker to join our Client's team. The role involves helping individuals actively engage in meaningful activities, boosting their independence and confidence, regardless of their abilities.
Main Duties:
- Assist individuals in daily activities, promoting active participation.
- Support in feeding, hygiene, toileting, and transitions.
- Work with individuals during animal therapy, horseback riding, pool sessions, and multisensory activities.
- Follow therapists' recommendations and SMART goals for each person.
- Assist with vocational training and supervise transport when needed.
- Help deliver creative and tailored sessions, including small group activities.
Requirements:
- MQF Level 3 or higher qualification in health or social care (60 ECTS/ECVET minimum).
- Experience working with disabilities, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder or challenging behavior.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
The selected candidate must meet Protection of Minors Act (POMA) and immunization requirements.
