Senior Accountant
Overview:
Manpower is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Process and manage invoice payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Debtors Management: Monitor, reconcile, and update debtor accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and related reports, including TAX and VAT returns.
- Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with external accounting professionals to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal accounting roles.
- Education: A Master's degree in Accounting or an ACCA certification is required.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central or similar would be considered an asset.
