Tax Advisor
Our client is seeking to recruit a candidate to join its tax team. Candidates should have prior experience in local and international direct tax matters, be diligent and self-motivated, team players, able to adhere to deadlines as well as driven to expand their technical knowledge in the field. Forming part of the advisory team, the selected candidate will benefit from working within a dynamic team with exposure to all advisory engagements.
The selected candidate will be engaged in:
- Attending to clients tax compliance obligations
- Planning and attending to personal and corporate tax compliance work, including tax returns, tax computations, tax refund claim forms, share transfers and Malta Enterprise support measures, amongst others
- Assisting with tax advisory engagements both on local and international taxation, including advice on cross-border transactions and investments
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a University degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification. In addition, candidates must be able to communicate very well in both written and spoken English while the ability to communicate in Italian will be considered an asset, as will be the possession of an ADIT qualification. At least two years experience in a similar role is required.
