Junior Tax Executive

We are seeking a qualified or partly qualified Junior Tax Executive to join our client's team.

As a member of our client's Tax team, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to clients on different aspects of taxation and ensuring compliance with Tax regulations. The successful candidate must have an understanding of local Tax legislation, regulations, and procedures, as well as good analytical, communication, self-driven and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in tax compliance matters for a portfolio of both international and local clients
• Prepare and/or review of income tax returns and computations
• Assist & work on the process of income tax refund claims, including shareholder registrations
• Communicate clearly with clients while understanding their requirements
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department on various compliance matters
• Keep abreast with tax developments locally and internationally
• Assisting in indirect taxation and related services;
• Tax advisory;
• Personal tax compliance services and related matters;
• Any other tax-related tasks as may be required;
• Issue payroll related documents as required by Law such as FS3, FS5 and FS7 forms;
• Respond to Tax-related queries from clients and relevant authorities.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to address and resolve tax-related issues.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in Tax compliance and/or tax advisory services, or equivalent experience in a tax role.
• Be in possession or in progress of a university degree in Law or Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
• Any other professional qualification in Tax and experience in other areas of tax compliance will be considered as an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of Tax regulations and procedures.
• Excellent analytical, communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Be self-motivated and possess strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
