Junior/Mid Scrum Master

Summary
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Scrum Master to coordinate our client software development team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product team and development team in the smooth running of work in progress and upcoming plans. Your responsibilities will include facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and promoting collaboration within the team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills as a Scrum Master.

Job Responsibilities
:

  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
  • Work with product owners to discuss backlog prioritization, sprint planning and new requests
  • Work with the Delivery Manager to identify risks and impact
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during ongoing sprints
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint by involving the right people
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it
  • Coordinate between the relevant parties for scheduled releases to ensure all contributors are available
  • Identify and address obstacles that hinder the teams progress. Collaborate with team members, product owners, and stakeholders to find solutions.
  • Administer JIRA Projects and boards

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Diploma in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent work experience

Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is a plus but not required

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Basic proficiency in Scrum tools and practices
  • Adaptability and openness to change
  • Organized and methodical
  • Willingness to learn
