Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Group Accountant to manage financial reporting, improve systems, and give clear insights to support business growth. You'll work closely with different teams to improve processes and drive better financial control.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly accounts (P&L, cashflow)
• Track budget vs actual performance
• Provide clear reports and key insights
• Monitor KPIs (Food %, Labour %, GP)

Budgeting & Control

• Lead annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor performance and manage variances
• Strengthen financial controls

Cash Flow

• Manage rolling cashflow forecasts
• Plan payments, VAT, and expenses

Cost & Operations

• Monitor food, labour, and operational costs
• Support purchasing and stock control
• Identify cost-saving opportunities

Payroll & Accounts

• Oversee payroll accuracy and labour costs
• Support and improve the accounts function
• Ensure invoicing and collections are efficient

Systems & Reporting

• Support ERP implementation
• Improve automation and reporting tools

Business Support

• Support pricing and profitability decisions
• Build financial models for projects
• Provide insights to support management decisions
