Senior Tax Accountant
On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a well‑established professional services environment supporting a diverse portfolio of international and private clients across multiple industries. This role offers exposure to complex tax matters and is suited to a qualified professional looking to take on increased responsibility within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on technical aspects of tax work, including the development and review of internal procedures.
- Manage and oversee the work of junior team members on assigned client portfolios.
- Handle complex income tax and VAT matters across various business sectors.
- Provide practical and technically sound tax support tailored to client requirements.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings as required.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a tax‑focused role.
- Possession of a professional taxation qualification, or equivalent practical experience with the willingness to obtain such certification if required.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
