Senior Client Accountant

Our client, one of the leading corporate service providers in Malta, is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant.

The successful chosen candidate will form part of a dynamic team that handles a predominantly international clientele operating across a wide range of industries as well as the firms private clients. The role is therefore ideal for someone who wishes to broaden their experience and take on a challenge.

General responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring all records up to date
• Training and assisting junior accounting members
• VAT returns and other related VAT compliance requirements
• Corporate income tax computations and returns
• Reporting to management on a regular basis
• Managing a diversified portfolio of companies

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• Fully Qualified Accountant
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and especially in English
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Able to meet deadlines and providing quality of service to clients
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
