Market Manager – Arabic Markets (Casino & Sportsbook)
About the role
We're launching a new online casino and sports betting brand for Arabic‑speaking players, starting with the GCC and with plans to expand into other Arabic markets. This is a genuine zero‑to‑one opportunity.
We're looking for a Market Manager to take full ownership of the brand and turn it from an idea into a successful, growing business. You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day development of the brand — from acquisition and promotions to customer experience and site operations — working closely with our central teams (product, CRM, marketing, payments, customer support, and design).
This role is perfect for someone entrepreneurial and hands‑on, who wants the freedom to build something from scratch while still benefiting from the infrastructure and support of an established operator.
What you'll be responsible for
Brand launch & strategy
- Own the brand's positioning, tone of voice, and Arabic content
- Define and track key performance metrics such as acquisition, retention, and NGR
- Act as the main owner of the Arabic market vision and execution
Customer acquisition (with internal teams)
- Work closely with internal acquisition, affiliate, and social teams to identify the best channels and partners for Arabic‑speaking customers
- Be the market expert: advise on what will and won't work for GCC and wider Arabic audiences
- Support partner negotiations and communication where language or cultural nuance matters
- Review and approve Arabic creative, landing pages, and affiliate materials for accuracy, tone, and cultural fit
Promotions & CRM
- Plan and manage the promotional calendar for casino and sportsbook (welcome offers, reloads, tournaments, major sporting events)
- Collaborate with the CRM team to localise lifecycle communications in Arabic
- Test, analyse, and optimise promotions based on customer behaviour
Customer support (early stage)
- Provide first‑line customer support in Arabic during the initial launch phase
- Create and maintain FAQs, templates, and a support knowledge base
- Set standards and document processes to support future scaling
Site & product ownership
- Manage daily site operations: content updates, landing pages, banners, translations, and game lobbies
- QA the full Arabic-language user experience
- Share market insights and customer feedback with product and tech teams to influence the roadmap
Who we're looking for
Must-haves
- Native or fully fluent Arabic (written and spoken) and strong English
- Proven iGaming experience (casino, sportsbook, or both) in areas such as brand, CRM, affiliates, acquisition, or market management
- An entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes
- Hands‑on and flexible — happy to switch between strategy, execution, and customer interaction
- Based in Malta or willing to relocate
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of GCC markets and cultural nuances
- Knowledge of the Arabic iGaming affiliate and partner ecosystem
- Experience launching a brand or market from scratch
- Familiarity with sports popular in the region (football, cricket, MMA, horse racing, F1)
- Education in marketing, business, or a related field
- Experience using CMS tools, CRM systems, BI dashboards, or back‑office platforms
What success looks like in the first 12 months
- A commercially viable brand with clear momentum
- A working acquisition mix across 3–4 channels with predictable unit economics
- A structured promotional calendar driving deposits and retention
- Customer support standards clearly defined and ready to scale
- A data‑driven plan for expanding into additional Arabic markets
