Head of Property Development
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Head of Property Development to join our client's team and manage their diverse real estate portfolio. This leadership position will report directly to the CEO of the Group and will be instrumental in optimising the value of their assets and driving the property strategic growth plan of the group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive property management and development strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of the group.
- Identify opportunities for new property development and lead the project with the design and architectural teams and other stakeholders from proposal to implementation stage of any new or renovation projects.
- Lead the design and project management of all new projects and refurbishments including liaison with government entities, contractors, suppliers and partners.
- Identify best use and oversee the development of assets and land owned by the group both in Malta and overseas.
- Evaluate non-core assets owned by the group both locally and overseas for potential disposal and execution of asset disposal maximising returns for the group.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with the agreed parameters for all new developments and renovations adhering to the highest standards of quality and design.
- Prepare and present project budgets and regular reports to senior management on the performance of the property portfolio, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee the performance of the properties owned by the group including the hotel assets, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability, reviewing capital expenditure and other projects related to the group owned assets.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must
- Be a qualified Architect
- Have experience in property development, project management or real estate. Ideally all three.
- Have exceptional negotiation techniques, strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent standard of both written and verbal Maltese and English languages.
- Whilst this is a Malta based position, the selected candidate will be required to travel for business
