Role Overview:
Marine Carpenters will be responsible for interior and exterior woodwork, teak decking, cabinetry, and custom joinery. The role combines traditional carpentry skills with modern precision tools to meet the highest standards in marine environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install wooden fixtures, trims, decking, and decorative elements.
Design, craft, and refurbish bespoke solutions for cabins, galleys, salons, and entertainment areas.
Lay, caulk, sand, and finish teak decks; remove and replace worn decking with precision.
Select and work with marine-grade, moisture-resistant woods and finishes.
Apply coatings, sealants, and treatments for durability in marine conditions.
Provide external carpentry services for architectural or luxury projects requiring marine-grade wood solutions.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in marine carpentry, yacht refit, or luxury woodworking.
Proven expertise in teak deck fabrication and installation.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and templates.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to premium-quality finishes.
Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
