HR Generalist


On behalf of our client, Manpower is searching for an experienced HR professional to join their team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading HR functions that support organisational growth, while working closely with management to foster a strong workplace culture and ensure full compliance with employment regulations and internal policies.

Note: This is a fully on-site position. Remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to advertising roles, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and finalising hires.

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies suited to both local and international markets.

  • Design HR initiatives that support long-term organisational goals and align with company values.

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle onboarding, contract management, and offboarding with a focus on compliance and administration.

  • Improve onboarding processes to ensure smooth and effective integration of new employees.

  • Handle day-to-day HR operations, including contract drafting, attendance tracking, regulatory documentation, and payroll support (in coordination with an external provider).

  • Ensure HR practices fully comply with local labour laws and internal procedures.

  • Support employee growth through training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.

  • Collaborate with both local and group-level leadership to ensure consistency in HR practices across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Law, Psychology, Economics, or related field. HR certifications are considered an asset.

  • 4 - 5 years of hands-on HR experience in a similar role, ideally within structured environments.

  • Fluent in both Italian and English, written and spoken.

  • Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and HR operations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience advising leadership and supporting teams.

  • Results-driven, analytical, and able to manage complexity with confidence.
