Client Accountant
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join a well-established and fast-growing professional services firm as a Client Accountant (Junior/Senior), supporting a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.
This role is ideal for candidates with a solid accounting background who are either already experienced in client accounting or looking to take their first steps into this area. It offers exposure to industries such as iGaming, venture capital, and crypto, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams including legal, tax, and corporate professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions for a portfolio of local and international clients
- Perform periodical reconciliations
- Assist with management reporting
- Assist with VAT reporting
- Work alongside colleagues from our legal, corporate and tax teams on engagements that are not solely accounting related
- Support management and senior colleagues with ad-hoc client requests
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal Maltese and English
- A team player with a positive can do attitude
- Minimum A-level in Accounting or similar education
- Curiosity to learn and ambitious to grow
- Attention to detail and quality oriented
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Proficient in MS Excel
