Senior Corporate Services Executive
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Corporate Services Executive to join our growing Corporate Services team in Malta. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in corporate and financial services, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing client portfolios and navigating regulatory frameworks.
You will take ownership of your own portfolio, handle complex corporate governance matters, ensure full compliance with local regulations, and liaise with authorities such as the Malta Business Registry, VAT Department, International Tax Unit, and local banks. You will also contribute to internal process improvements and mentor junior team members along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit resolutions and statutory forms to the Malta Business Registry (MBR).
- Manage corporate changes, company formations, and restructuring processes.
- Maintain statutory registers and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Draft and review corporate documentation including contracts, resolutions, and filings.
- Oversee bank account openings/closures and liaise with financial institutions.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client communications and operational queries.
- Support client onboarding, due diligence (KYC), and ongoing monitoring procedures.
- Assist clients with residency programs and employment visa applications.
- Keep clients up to date with regulatory developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the MBR and other regulators.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate services or a similar field.
- Diploma (or higher) in Legal, Finance, or a related area is considered an asset.
- Solid understanding of Maltese corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English and Maltese.
- Organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
