On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate accounting records for accounts payable, monthly management accounts, financial statements and VAT/Tax compliance by performing a variety of clerical and accounting work.
Main Responsibilities include:
1 . To prepare monthly financial and operating statements to allow the review of the companys financial performance
2 . To assist in preparation of reports required by senior management.
3 . To perform monthly balance sheet reviews.
4 . To perform monthly reviews of the companys accounts payable ageing reports and ensure suppliers payments are issued by the agreed payment terms.
5 . To prepare bank reconciliations.
6 . To work with other company departments and facilitate the preparation and interpretation of financial information and to check that the data prepared is compliant with financial and fiscal requirements and controls.
7 . To file and maintain clerical records and reports pertinent to accounting and bookkeeping.
8 . To prepare NSO statistics and surveys as required.
9 . To perform inventory counts and ensure proper accounting and reporting related to inventory.
10 . To liaise with the appointed external auditors to ensure a prompt and accurate preparation and execution of the statutory audit of the companys finances.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be in the process of obtaining an ACCA Qualification.
- Have good experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Possess excellent communication and team management skills.
