Maintenance Person/ Messenger

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Person/messenger.  His duties is to provide quality support and ensure that maintenance requirements are carried out professionally.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out routine maintenance work such as, painting walls, plumbing, basic electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.
• To carry out regular inspections and examine for defects in building services, equipment, installations, etc. and keep relative records.
• To notify the Head of Administration and Debt Collection and Chief Financial Officer of any major works that cannot be performed due to lack of equipment or skill.
• To help in moving office equipment and furniture.
• To monitor and keep clean both the internal and external CCTV cameras of the premises.
• To keep oneself updated on developments in maintenance methods and equipment.
• To act as a Messenger when the need arises.
• To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout.
• To perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• have 1 year experience in a similar role
• have a school leaving certificate;
• be able to speak, read and write in both Maltese and English;
• have a clean driving licence.
