Payroll and HR Administrator
Manpower Malta on behalf of our client are currently looking to recruit a Payroll and HR Administrator to join our clients team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining the payroll system.
- Preparing employee salaries using payroll software, and ensuring the payroll is done precisely and in a timely manner.
- Maintenance of Time and Attendance and exporting data to payroll.
- Issuing payroll reports and distributing in a timely manner.
- Responding to employee questions about salary, taxes, work permits, benefits, and deductions.
- Liaising with HR Manager and Director of Finance.
- Supporting the head of departments with payroll and Time and Attendance issues.
- Administering the whole process of Visa and Work permit applications for new and current employees as well as ensuring timely renewal applications.
Requirements
- Have experience with a payroll system, (preferably Shireburn, Indigo)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English.
- Basic knowledge of the local legislation related to payroll processes and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good time management and time flexibility to meet deadlines.
- Be accurate and detail oriented.
