On Behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking a Credit Controller / Accounts Clerk to join their finance department. This role focuses heavily on managing receivables and ensuring timely collections from clients. The successful candidate will be experienced in credit control processes, client communications, and basic accounting support.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
Follow up with clients regarding overdue accounts via phone, email, and written communication.
Negotiate payment plans and resolve client queries related to outstanding invoices.
Maintain accurate records of collections activity and client communications.
Prepare and issue account statements and ageing reports.
Support the finance team with general accounting tasks and reconciliations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially in handling client follow-ups.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
