Proposal Engineer
Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Proposal Engineer to join our client's team. The Proposal Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing technical inquiries and developing proposals for energy projects. This includes handling tenders, RFQs, technical evaluations, and collaborating with clients to deliver tailored energy solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for Diesel Gensets, Gas (CHP/CCHP) systems, Microgrids, and BESS solutions.
- Review RFQs, ITT documentation, and tender specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Address technical inquiries, evaluate project feasibility, and provide innovative energy solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates for equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor services using pricing databases and supplier quotes.
- Present technical solutions to clients, demonstrating the value proposition of MTU products and addressing queries effectively.
- Identify potential risks in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all proposals adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Energy preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal engineering or sales engineering within the energy or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with Diesel Gensets, Gas (CHP/CCHP) systems, Microgrids, or BESS technologies is essential.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes and technical evaluations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
