Payroll Associate
Manpower Malta on behalf of our client are seeking a Payroll Associate to join our clients existing payroll team
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the periodical payrolls for a variety of clients;
- Processing of various payroll reports requested by clients;
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data in the relevant payroll system;
- Issue payroll related documents as required by Law such as FS3, FS5 and FS7 forms;
- Preparing and processing documents for newly engaged and terminated employees and in a timely manner;
- Maintain client confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential;
- Engage in month-end consolidation and reconciliation and payment of payroll taxes as required;
- Assisting in the invoicing and billing of the company's clients;
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing internally set targets as needed; and
- Engage in any other related tasks as assigned by Management.
Skills and Experience:
- A level standard of education;
- A minimum of two (2) years working experience in running payroll;
- Hands-on experience with Shireburn Indigo shall be considered an asset;
- Have good interpersonal skills fluency in English and Maltese is a must whilst further languages, namely Italian, would be an advantage;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Highly organised with a high attention to detail; and
- Ability to work on own initiative and under strict deadlines.
